2025-2026 School Year
Northwest Elementary School will host a kindergarten enrollment night on Tuesday, March 18 from 3:00- 6:00 pm floating. Families will be able to register for kindergarten, sign up for bus transportation, learn about the Spanish Immersion program, schedule an appointment for kindergarten assessments and meet the kindergarten teachers.
Please check the Northwest Elementary School website for enrollment information under Parents/Students, Enroll Your Student. Parents will need to bring the following information with them to enroll their child for school.
- Davidson County Schools enrollment form
- Certified copy of your child’s birth certificate
- TWO proofs of residence
Proofs of residence that are acceptable are: utility bill, rental/lease agreement, or mortgage statement or vehicle registration). If you live in a home where the bills are in someone else’s name (other than a spouse), please bring that person with you to enroll.
- Photo I.D. such as a driver’s license
- Custody papers (if applicable)
The North Carolina Health Assessment Report and a copy of your child’s complete immunization report are due within the first 30 days of school.
To be eligible for kindergarten in the 2025-2026 school year, a child must be 5 years old on or before August 31, 2025.
